Photo Size for Bank Exams: IBPS and SBI (2026)

By FlowVid Team·Last updated June 17, 2026

Bank recruitment exams — IBPS PO and Clerk, SBI PO and Clerk — all need a photograph and a signature uploaded within strict limits. Because the same files are often reused across attempts, it's worth preparing them correctly once. Here's what these portals generally expect.

Typical photo and signature specs

Bank exam portals usually want a recent colour photograph around 200×230 pixels within a 20–50KB range, plus a separate signature image around 140×60 pixels under 20KB, signed in black ink on white paper. SBI and IBPS specifications are very similar, which is why the same prepared files often work across both.

Per-exam tools

  • SBI PO and SBI Clerk: use the SBI PO Photo Size and SBI Clerk Photo Size tools
  • IBPS PO and Clerk: use the IBPS PO Photo Size and Bank (IBPS) Photo Resize tools
  • Signature for any of them: Signature Resize to 20KB

Prepare once, reuse everywhere

Crop and compress your photo with the tool for your exam, prepare the signature once, and keep both files. They'll usually satisfy the next bank exam too. Everything is processed privately in your browser — nothing is uploaded or stored.

Confirm the official notification

Exact dimensions and KB limits vary by notification and year. Use the figures here as a reference and always verify against the current official IBPS or SBI notice before you submit.
