WebP is great for websites, but you'll occasionally download one and find it won't open in an older app, or a form refuses to accept it. Converting it to JPG fixes the problem instantly, because JPG works practically everywhere.
Convert in three steps
- Open our free WebP to JPG converter.
- Drag in your .webp file (or click to browse).
- Download the JPG — done.
We never store your image — it's discarded the moment the conversion finishes. It's free, has no watermark, and needs no sign-up or software install.
A note on transparency
WebP can store transparent areas, but JPG cannot. If your WebP has transparency, those areas become a solid white background in the JPG. If you need to keep transparency, convert to PNG instead using our Image to PNG tool.
Why convert at all?
- Upload to forms and portals that only accept JPG
- Open images in older photo editors and viewers
- Share photos that everyone can open on any device
